Affiliate programme
There is no pricing and no billing yet, so there is nothing for a commission to be a percentage of. Rather than publish a programme that cannot pay anybody, here are the terms we intend to open with, and a way to be told when it does.
Intended terms
Commission
30% recurringOn every payment the customer makes, for as long as they stay. One rate rather than a different figure for the first payment and the renewals, because that structure exists mainly to make the headline number look bigger.
Duration
For the life of the customerNo twelve month cap, no cliff, no reset. If they stay four years you are paid for four years.
Attribution
90 daysTracked server side rather than by cookie alone, so an ad blocker or a cleared browser does not lose your referral.
Minimum payout
NoneWithdraw whatever has accrued.
Payment
Monthly, bank transfer or PayPalPaid the month after the customer pays, once their refund window has closed.
Approval
By applicationWe will decline applications where the promotion would misrepresent what the product does. That is a real filter, not a formality.
Indicative. They will be fixed in writing before the programme opens, and anyone who registered interest will see the final version before being asked to join.
Rules that are not standard
Most of the terms above match what the category already offers. These do not, and the reasoning matters more than the rule.
No invented statistics about the product
You may not publish response rates, customer counts or performance figures we have not given you, and we will not give you any we cannot evidence. This product argues publicly that outreach fails because it is full of claims nobody checked. An affiliate programme that rewards exactly that would be indefensible.
No claiming the product is risk free
Using it may breach LinkedIn's terms and accounts can be restricted. That is stated plainly on the site and in the contract. Promotion that implies otherwise will end the partnership, because the person it misleads is the one who loses their account.
No paid search on our brand terms
Bidding on our own name means paying commission for traffic that was already ours. Standard across the category, and we apply it the same way.
No fake review or comparison sites
Pages presented as independent reviews that are actually affiliate placements. They are common in this category, they are the reason its review content is untrustworthy, and we would rather have fewer partners than be part of it.
No self-referral
Referring your own account, or your own company. Standard, and worth stating.
Who it suits
- People who write honestly about sales and outreach and have an audience that trusts them for it.
- Consultants and agencies who already advise clients on prospecting and want a tool they can defend recommending.
- Communities and newsletters serving founders or sales teams doing their own outreach.
Who it does not
- Coupon and deal sites, where the traffic would have converted anyway.
- Anyone whose model is ranking a review page they have never used the product to write.
- Paid traffic arbitrage on our own brand terms.
Common questions
Is the OutreachConvert affiliate programme open?
Not yet. The product is in private testing with no pricing and no billing, so there is nothing for a commission to be a percentage of. Opening a programme that cannot pay would be a poor way to begin a relationship built entirely on trust. You can register interest now and you will be contacted before it opens.
What commission will you pay?
The intention is 30% recurring for the life of the customer, with no twelve month cap and no cliff. One rate rather than a higher figure on the first payment and a lower one on renewals, because that structure mainly exists to make a headline number look larger than the thing you actually earn.
How long does attribution last?
Ninety days, tracked server side rather than by cookie alone so that an ad blocker or a cleared browser does not lose a referral you earned. Given that this is a considered B2B purchase rather than an impulse one, a thirty day window would mostly benefit us.
Can I run paid ads on OutreachConvert keywords?
No. Bidding on our own brand terms means paying commission on traffic that was already coming to us. This is standard across the category and we apply it the same way. Paid traffic to your own content that mentions us is fine.
What will get an application declined?
Publishing performance statistics about the product that we have not given you, and we will not give you any we cannot evidence. Claiming the product is risk free, when using it may breach LinkedIn's terms and accounts can be restricted. Running a review site presented as independent that is actually an affiliate placement. Those are the reason this category's review content is untrustworthy, and we would rather have fewer partners than add to it.
