Help · Inbox and replies
What happens when someone replies
The moment someone replies, automation stops for them entirely and anything queued for them is cancelled. That is checked twice: once when the reply arrives, and again immediately before any message is sent. A scheduled follow-up can never land on top of a real conversation.
What happens
- The conversation is marked as needing a human, and appears in your inbox.
- Any draft or queued message for that person is cancelled.
- The reply is classified, so an opt-out or a meeting request is visible without opening it.
- If the reply is an opt-out, that person is suppressed across every channel automatically.
Opt-outs
An opt-out is honoured immediately and without review, and takes precedence over anything else in the message. Somebody writing "this sounds interesting but please remove me" is treated as an opt-out.
Suppression records are never deleted, because deleting one would risk contacting somebody who has already said no.
Reactions are not replies
A thumbs-up or similar reaction is acknowledgement rather than a conversation. Reactions do not stop automation and do not mark a conversation as needing attention.
