Help · Approving and sending
How the approval queue works
Every draft lands in the queue and stays there until you act on it. Approving moves it into the send queue, where it goes out at a human pace inside your working hours. Rejecting discards it. Nothing sends on its own.
Your options
- Approve and queue: the message is scheduled and will send inside your working hours.
- Save edit: keeps your changes without approving, so you can come back to it.
- Reject: discards the draft. Nothing is sent.
- Never contact: suppresses that person across every channel and cancels anything queued for them. This is permanent.
Editing before approving
You can rewrite a draft entirely. What you approve is what sends, and it is your message once you approve it.
Style checks run again when you approve, so an edit that introduces a problem is caught rather than sent.
Why some drafts are flagged
A draft that states a figure, a comparison, or a claim about someone's employer is flagged for verification. The person receiving it is usually the one person who would know if it were wrong, and a confidently wrong claim costs more than saying nothing.
Drafts are also flagged when the signal behind them was uncertain, or when the wording is close to something sent recently to somebody else.
