Help · Approving and sending

Sending hours and daily limits

Approved messages send only on weekdays, only during your configured working hours, and only within a daily cap. New accounts start well below the cap and ramp over about three weeks. Timing is varied rather than regular, because messages arriving at exact intervals are recognisably automated.

The rules

  • Weekdays only. Business messages arriving at a weekend read as automated.
  • Inside your configured hours, evaluated in your own timezone rather than the server's.
  • Within a daily cap on messages, with a separate lower cap on profile lookups.
  • Irregular gaps between sends, never a fixed interval.
  • At most one message per person per cycle.

The warm-up period

A newly connected account sends at roughly a third of its eventual allowance and increases over about three weeks. Starting at full volume on a new account is the most reliable way to attract a restriction.

The banner at the top of every page shows what has been sent today and what the current allowance is.

Raising the limits

The caps are not raised on request. They exist to protect your account and the people you contact. If you need more volume than they allow, this is not the right product and we would rather say so.
