Replying from the inbox
You can reply to any conversation directly from the inbox. Your own replies send immediately rather than joining the queue, and they are not put through the draft style checks, because those exist to stop machine-written text sounding machine-written, not to police how you write.
How it differs from a draft
- It sends immediately. There is no approval step for something you typed yourself.
- Style checks do not apply. It is your message, in your words.
- It still counts towards the daily allowance, because the platform counts it, but you will never be prevented from answering somebody.
What the side panel shows
Alongside each conversation you can see who the person is, whether automation is paused for them, which channels they are reachable on, recent events involving them, and what has already been sent.
That context is the reason to reply here rather than in LinkedIn: before answering you can see that they changed role last week and that a comment was already left on their post.
