Help · Approving and sending

Turning sending on and off

A new workspace does not send anything. Drafts are collected and held so you can see what the product would say before any of it reaches a real person. When you are ready, turn sending on under Settings, then Sending. The switch appears once you have approved at least one draft.

Why the switch is not available yet

It needs one approved draft first. Reading a message written in your name and deciding it is good enough is the only thing that really tells you what you are switching on, and it is not something a checkbox can stand in for.

You also need a confirmed email address and a connected account, which is the same rule everything that reaches another person follows.

What changes when you turn it on

  • Messages you have already approved go out inside your next sending window.
  • From then on, approving a draft means it will actually be sent.
  • You can still cancel any queued message right up to the moment it goes.
  • Your sending hours, daily caps and the warm-up ramp all continue to apply, unchanged.

Turning it off again

One click, at any time, with no conditions attached. Anything already approved is held rather than thrown away, so switching back on releases it.

If it says sending is paused rather than off

That means we have paused sending across the whole product, which is at our end rather than yours. Your setting is remembered and nothing is lost. It resumes without you needing to do anything.
