Being told when something needs you
The product works several times a day whether or not you are signed in. One email on weekday mornings tells you when something needs you: a draft waiting for a decision, or somebody who has written back. On a day with nothing to do, nothing is sent.
Why silence is a feature
An email that arrives every morning saying "nothing today" is one people stop opening within a week, and then the one that matters is missed with it. A quiet week means a quiet inbox.
What it lists, in order
- Replies waiting for you. A person who is waiting outranks a draft that has not been sent.
- Drafts to review.
- Anything approved and going out that day, which is your last chance to change your mind.
Turning it off
There is a link in every one, and it works without signing in. Emails about your account itself, such as a password reset or a receipt, are separate and stay on.
