Connecting LinkedIn and a mailbox
You connect LinkedIn, and optionally a Gmail or Outlook mailbox, through the provider's own hosted sign-in. Your password is never entered into OutreachConvert and is never held by us. Once connected, the product sees what you see as a signed-in user and nothing more.
This is the one everything runs off. Signals, drafts and the inbox all come from it, and without it there is nothing to react to.
Complete any security check or verification code promptly. An unresolved check stops the connection working, and the product will say so rather than quietly doing nothing.
A mailbox
Optional, and second for a reason. Nothing is ever noticed by watching a mailbox: the events that start a conversation still come from LinkedIn. A mailbox is somewhere for a message to go when LinkedIn goes unread.
Mail is sent from your own address rather than ours, which matters twice over. Replies land in your inbox where you will actually see them, and your sending reputation stays yours rather than being shared with every other customer.

What is held
- An opaque reference to the connected account, never a password.
- The people, conversations and profile details LinkedIn shows you.
- Contact details only where LinkedIn shows them to you, which is generally for first-degree connections.
