Plays
A play is a single rule of the form "when this happens, draft that". Your workspace starts with three, all switched off, which means nothing is drafted until you turn one on. Each one shows how many drafts it has written and how many were sent, so keeping it on is a decision based on what it produced.
The three you start with
- Congratulate on a role change.
- Welcome on a connection accepted, only ever as the first thing said to that person.
- Comment on a new post, in public, on the substance of what they wrote.
Guards every play respects
- One play fires per person per event. Two messages about the same job change is the clearest sign nobody typed them.
- A cooldown, so the same play cannot fire at the same person again for months.
- A quiet period, so somebody contacted recently by any route is left alone.
- A first-touch play cannot open a conversation that already exists, including one you started by hand.
- Anybody with a live conversation is skipped entirely.
Why nothing happens on day one
Because every play is off. The first thing a new account should do is read your network rather than write to it, and turning a play on before you have seen what it would say is how people end up approving in bulk.
