Overview

OutreachConvert watches the people you are already connected to on LinkedIn for something worth responding to, drafts a reply to that specific event, and waits for you to approve it. It is not a contact database and not a bulk sender. Everything else in this documentation follows from those three sentences.

The loop

  • Your connections are read several times a day, in bulk.
  • When something happens, a rule you have switched on decides whether it is worth a message.
  • A draft is written that responds to that specific event.
  • The draft waits for you. You read it, edit it, or bin it.
  • Approved messages go out at a human pace, inside your working hours.

Three rules that explain most of the behaviour

Nothing reaches a person without a human decision. There is no setting that turns this off, and most of the product is arranged around making that decision quick rather than around removing it.

Volume is capped, and the caps are conservative on purpose. The scarce resource is not our capacity, it is your LinkedIn account, and a restricted account is the one failure nobody can undo for you.

A real conversation outranks anything automatic. The moment somebody replies, everything queued for them is cancelled and it is yours.

What it deliberately does not do

  • It does not find strangers for you. It works with people you know, plus anybody you import.
  • It does not send at volume. There is no plan that raises the caps.
  • It does not run itself. A quiet week produces a quiet queue, which is usually correct rather than broken.
